Improving your local area
There are lots of ways you can help improve your local area, for yourself , your family and your neighbours, making it a better place to live.
Here’s just a few ideas and organisations that can support you…
Go on a litter-pick, help to spruce up a neglected patch of land where you live, or plant bulbs to help brighten up your area. If you fancy donning your gloves and getting stuck in then contact Greener Sudbury with your idea and they’ll be glad to support you or find a project for you to join. You might make some new friends too!
Are you a good neighbour? Could you help others by picking up some shopping, offering a lift or changing a light bulb? The Good Neighbour Scheme, coordinated by Community Action Suffolk (CAS) is a voluntary initiative run by a group of local residents who want to help their people in their area to enjoy a better quality of life by offering them support with every day tasks.
