Where I Live
What is Connect Sudbury?
Local people in Suffolk have called for health and social care services to work together much more closely and to link in with the local community. This is backed up by the Health and Wellbeing Board in Suffolk and their vision that the population of Suffolk live happy and healthy lives. Connect is here to help make this happen.
Sudbury was an earlier adopter site, covering the town, Great Cornard, and its surrounding villages it was the first area trying out this new way of working.

Improving your local area
There are lots of ways you can help improve your local area, for yourself , your family and your neighbours, making it a better place to live.
Here’s just a few ideas and organisations that can support you…
Go on a litter-pick, help to spruce up a neglected patch of land where you live, or plant bulbs to help brighten up your area. If you fancy donning your gloves and getting stuck in then contact Greener Sudbury with your idea and they’ll be glad to support you or find a project for you to join. You might make some new friends too!
Are you a good neighbour? Could you help others by picking up some shopping, offering a lift or changing a light bulb? The Good Neighbour Scheme, coordinated by Community Action Suffolk (CAS) is a voluntary initiative run by a group of local residents who want to help their people in their area to enjoy a better quality of life by offering them support with every day tasks. If you would like to be involved in this scheme please contact:
