Customer Access Point

Get help and advice on matters such as Housing benefit, Housing registration, Council Tax and rent enquiries, blue badge pass applications, travel vouchers.

The Office is open Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 4.30pm, but please note the office closes for lunch between 12.30pm and 1.30pm everyday. 

C’Art in Mind group at The Christopher Centre – open group @ The Christopher Centre

New Art group is now meeting at The Christopher Centre at 10am every Thursday morning.  The group is open and you can join at any time; there is a small charge of £3 each week which includes refreshments too.

There is a full programme of artistic activities including creative writing and up-cycling of furniture and household items.

 

The group is particularly suited to those who have have mental ill health but is an open group for anyone to attend.  Go along and give it a try!

 

 

 

Grow Your Community – Sudbury’s New Growing Project @ Belle Vue Park

Gardening group meets weekly in green spaces around the town.  Ideal if you would like …

  • to get out and about a bit more
  • get more active and feel fitter
  • learn new skills and share ideas
  • meet new people

Meets at The Bridge Project on Mondays and in Belle Vue Park on Thursdays.  Get in touch with Dan if you’d like to go along.

Sudbury CAB Drop-in session @ Keyse House

Daily drop-in session Monday to Friday 10am to 1pm.  Call in for advice on money, debt and benefits, housing, employment rights and a host of other difficult issues.  Don’t suffer in silence – ask for help from the wonderful team at Sudbury CAB and they will do their best to help.

Sudbury Community Depot – “if you need it, we may have it” @ Christopher Centre

Drop-in if you need household items, clothing or personal items.  Items can be donated at the Christopher Centre anytime.

TBS Sudbury Hub @ Stevenson Centre

The Weekly Hub in Great Cornard is a friendly and fun place to go every Thursday.  Activities include art, music, sport, amateur dramatics and free training in life skills and employability.  Suitable for anyone with a learning/physical disability or common mental health problem.  Come along for 3 free sessions.  Call Nicky on 07906 758031 or The Befriending Scheme office on 01787 371 333 for more information.

You can come and and just listen if you prefer and drop in and out as you please. It’s very informal and ideal for anyone who may be recovering from mental ill health or is in need of company.
